Based on best selling books by Louise Rennison, Gurinda Chadha's latest feature 'Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging' is  a coming of age story following the mixed up world of Georgia Nicolson. Filming took place at Ealing Studios where Salon installed two Apple Mac based Avid Adrenaline systems connected to a massive 8 Tb Avid Unity LANshare LP shared storage network. Once filming had wrapped Salon engineers packed up and moved the editing department into Soho's De Lane Lea cutting rooms to complete the post production. Schedules were tight so in order to free up some valuable time on the main Adrenaline systems Salon also provided the team with the ability to connect their laptops to the Unity so that audio logging and importing as well as quicktime outputting could all be done in the background.
